What's going on. We have been allocated only 2,300 due to Local Authority ruling.

What's that all about, didn't we give the Villa 4,500

2,300 are they taking the p***????

its got to be one of the worst away grounds in the league. no beer for away fans, split over two tiers, and shoved on the side.

next season i would give them the MINIMUM. as few as we can, hopefully about 1800! id rather empty seats than them in our ground anyway.

I love the way most havnt read the, "Due to local authority rulings" bit from the article on the main site or the OP.

Also most grounds dont sell beer for away fans during derbys not just villa.

what ruling though.

why dont they say what it is??

theres never been this sort of ruling before, and it wasnt applied to Villa.

And Villa dont serve alcohol to away fans at ANY game at villa park. that was my point.

I read it, doesn't stop it from being a travesty of justice.

I'd rather put £43 in a local charity box than pay that to the Villa. We can hardly complain about the prices as we charge similar, but two wrongs don't make a right.

What about if it's your very first time buying a ticket at Villa ?

feed.back

You know Blues fans are going to end up in Villa areas after this pathetic allocation

And what exactly is a Local Authority ruling ? .....can someone please explain ?

Is this in relation to Birmingham City Council or the West Midlands Police ?

Aston Villa have been accused of trying to gain an edge over rivals Arsenal by cutting their ticket allocation for their crucial Premier League clash later this month.

Villa chiefs have controversially cut the Gunners’ ticket allocation to just 2,300 for the Villa Park fixture after Birmingham City Council decided that persistent standing from the travelling fans would not be tolerated any longer.

The authorities ruining the everday working classes fun again? surely not. I vote we all buy tickets in the holte and turn it blue for the day. Least it might be noisy then :banner:

what would happen to our home 'allocaton' if we all decided to stand at st andrews? would irmingham city council reduce that too? lol (not that im advocating that type of action of course :break: )

brum city council and villa in cahoots again? who'da thunk it?

Same here Elvis!

Didn't we get in trouble for charging away fans more even though they were sat in the same stand??

Be interesting to see what they are charging the home fans sitting alongside us!
